Black Forest Pudding Cake Recipe with Cherry Pie Filling Recipe

Ingredients
1 1/4 c Sugar
1 c Flour
3 TB Cocoa, unsweetened
2 ts Baking powder
1/4 ts Salt
1/3 c Butter, melted
1 1/2 ts Vanilla
1/2 c Packed brown sugar
1/4 c Cocoa, unsweetened
1 1/4 c Hot water
1/4 c Kirsch or 2 TB. Water plus
1/2 ts almond or rum extract
1 Can cherry pie filling

Cooking Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees f. In a medium-size bowl, combine 3/4 cup of the sugar, flour, three tablespoons of the cocoa, baking powder and salt. Blend in milk, melted butter and vanilla; beat until smooth. Spread into an 8 inch square pan. In a small bowl, combine remaining 1/2 cup sugar, brown sugar and remaining 1/4 cup cocoa; sprinkle mixture evenly over batter. Combine hot water and kirsch; pour over batter. Do not stir. Bake for 40 minutes, or until center is almost set. Let stand 15 minutes. Transfer to dessert dishes and spoon pudding from bottom of pan over cake. Cover cake with cream and then decorate the Black Forest Cake with cherries and chocolate curls. Serve with Cherry Pie Filling as sauce.

Chocolate Cherry Cake Recipe

Ingredients

CAKE:
1 package (18.25 ounces) fudge cake mix
1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon almond extract

FROSTING:
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup milk
5 tablespoons butter, cubed
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Cooking Directions
In a bowl, stir together all cake ingredients. Pour into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until cake tests done. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, mix sugar, milk and butter. Bring to a boil and boil for 1-1/2 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted. Pour over hot cake. Frosting will harden as it cools.

Yield: 15-20 servings.

CHERRY PIE FILLING CAKE RECIPE WITH ICING

Ingredients
1 package cake mix ( you can take yellow pudding-type cake mix or even white cake mix)
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar (better use powdered sugar, sifted type)
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten
2/3 c. salad oil
1 can cherry pie filling (21 ounces are more than enough)

Cooking Directions
Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Mix all the ingredients together (will be crumbly). Add 1 can cherry pie filling. Mix with blender. Pour into 9 x 13 inch dish. Bake at 350° degrees for 30 to 35 minutes, until cake bounces back when lightly touched.

You can do some icing over it too while following the directions below

ICING:
Ingredients
8 oz. cream cheese
2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 tbsp. melted butter

Directions
Blend together and spread over cooled cake. Easy cherry cake recipe with icing makes a delicious dessert.
