Peter Rabbit Cake

Novelty Cake Ideas

Basic shape: Made from a slab of cake cut to shape using a template.

Decor: The cake was covered in butter and fondant icing. The buttons are dolly mixtures. The eye and feet were made by melting chocolate and forming a puddle on greaseproof paper and allowing it to cool.
Ingredients

Sponge cake
Fondant icing to cover
Butter icing (with cocoa)
Food colouring
Honey or similar to stick icing to the cake
Dolly mixture sweets
Chocolate
Badge bearing childs name (optional)
