AMBROSIA CAKE WITH FILLING

Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
1 egg
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour, rounded
Pinch of salt
1/2 stick butter
4 oranges
2 lemons
Pkg. of coconut

Bake cake mix as directed. Cool and cut the 2 round cake layers to make 4 thin layers.

FILLING: Mix and stir 1 egg, 1 cup sugar, 1 tablespoons flour (rounded), pinch of salt, and 1/2 stick butter. Add juice of 3 oranges and 1 lemon to make 1 cup of juice. Heat. Stir until it boils and thickens. Add grated rind of 1 orange and 1 lemon; cool. Will be very thin. Put coconut on top and sides after frosting the top, sides and between layers with the filling.
