Marble cake mix
Instant chocolate pudding
2 lbs. Ricotta cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. milk (for pudding)
8 oz. Cool Whip
Mix marble cake according to box directions and pour into 9 x 13 inch pan. Mix eggs, cheese, sugar, vanilla and pour over cake mix. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Cool cake.
Mix pudding mix with 1 cup milk. Beat 3 minutes. Add Cool Whip and spread over cake. Refrigerate cake.
WHITE ICING FOR ITALIAN LOVE CAKE:
3/4 tbsp. flour
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Mix flour and milk and cook until thickens. Set aside. Beat shortening 4 minutes. Add sugar and vanilla to shortening and beat 4 minutes. Add flour mixture to shortening mixture and beat 4 minutes. Total beating time 12 minutes.
