CAKE:
1 pkg. Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
3/4 c. cooking oil
1 (10 oz.) bottle 7-Up
1 pkg. lemon or vanilla pudding mix (not instant)
4 eggs
TOPPING:
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. chopped nuts
2 eggs
1 sm. can crushed pineapple
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can coconut
Cake: Combine cake mix, pudding mix, oil and eggs. Beat all ingredients together. Add 7-Up. Beat 2 minutes. Pour batter into three 9 inch cake pans. Bake at 325 for 40 minutes.
Topping: Mix all ingredients except coconut. Cook until thickened. Add coconut. Spread over cake as icing.
